(A3) Toronto Maple Leafs at (A2) Boston Bruins
Puck Drop: 7 PM EDT
Brad Marchand:
You either love this guy or you hate him, and most people hate him. Regardless, he is having himself a career season, and he looks to continue that into the playoffs. Marchand has produced a 100 point season that includes 36 goals. He brings that physical element and is Boston’s most gritty player. He’s the guy that’s gonna be invited in a lot of post whistle activities. He is going to be able to create a lot of momentum for the Bruins. But he’s also going to be dangerous as a goal scorer.
Mitch Marner, John Tavares, and Auston Matthews
These 3 can argumbaly be some of the most dangerous forwards in the playoffs this year. Toronto is a very offensive based squad, and that’s because of these guys. These 3 have combined for 110 goals. If Toronto is going to make a run, these guys have to be be turned on. Watching these guys play is almost unbelievable. Watch out for these 3 come game time.
X Factor:
Toronto recently acquired Jake Muzzin to bolster up their weak defense. This is huge because Muzzin was with the Kings back when they made their run. Everyone is talking about Toronto’s plethora of offense and lack of defense. Muzzin can be the reason this team take game 1 tonight. Also, Toronto needs to adapt to the harsh atmosphere that is the Garden. If they want to finally beat their big brother, they need to win on the road.
