Pizza Power Rankings

Sometimes the environment one surrounds themselves in when watching a game is just as important as the game itself. From the chair to the TV to what you are eating it matters.

Athletes fuel their bodies with water and protein before a big game, depending on the day or time athletes also rest their body and get prepared for the game. From Tom Brady to Lebron James or even Jonathan Toews athletes work hard day in and day out. Their diets really help put them a step ahead against the competition.

With all the hard work athletes are putting into their game it is for the best that we do our part to watch the game in a proper setting. Finding the proper pizza is half the battle to watch the big game on a weekend.

Under The Lights is located in Chicago set let’s take a look at the Power Rankings of Chicago Pizza.

5. Paleramos

4. Giordano’s

3. Lou Malnati’s

2. Vito and Nick’s Pizzeria

1. Rosangela's Pizza

Chicago is filled with some of the best places for pizza. When watching the big game next time make sure to get a slice from your favorite place.

Top 5 Best Superstitions When Watching the Game

Even the best athletes are superstitious, Sidney Crosby has a cap hit of 8.7 million because that is his lucky number. Patrick Kane always wants to be the last one on the ice before a game. The list of athletes that are superstitious is pretty large. So it isn't that surprising that fans are too.

Honestly fans can be kind of crazy when it comes to watching the game. But as the slogan goes it’s only stupid if it doesn't work right? Let’s take a look at some of the best superstitions in all of sports fans.

5 Lucky Clothing Item

As long as you wash the shirt this one is not too bad.

4 Sit in the same place every game

As long as the team wins you are always going to be sitting on a stool in the kitchen even though the couch has room to watch the game…

3 Never watching because you are the jinx

Sometimes we all can be a jinx against our favorite teams. Think about it, with the millions of people that watch it makes total sense that we impact the game from our couches (sarcasm).

2 Don’t talk about winning or losing until the game is done

My dear friend has never been a Chicago Cubs fan. So when the Cubs found themselves in a game 7 in the world series my friend found himself rooting for the Pittsburgh Pirates. With the game on the line and the Cubs going to extra innings my friend declared the Pirates would win and started to celebrate. Well that backfired on him when the Cubs won the game and captured their first world series in over 100 years.

1 If something good happens when you leave the room, you are out for good.

This happened to my family back in the Stanley Cup final of 2013. The Blackhawks were down 2-1 against the Boston Bruins, with 5 minutes to go my mother left the room and said “It’s over I’m going to bed.” After hearing the celebration from us following the first goal the Blackhawks scored my mother tried to reenter the room. She was not granted access by my father, and 17 seconds later the Blackhawks scored.

I do not know why this was an article that needed to be written…. It’s the offseason for the NFL and the NHL so enjoy.

The title about sums this article up.
