Blackhawks fans will give and take a few things after last nights loss against Arizona. Chicago fell 4-1 against the Arizona Coyotes. However last night was more than just Hawks vs Yotes. It was Crows first game back with the hawks in 10 months, and it was Hjalmarsson and Vinnie Hinastrova’s first games back at the UC since being traded. With that in mind here are our give and takes from last nights Blackhawks game.

Gives
– Ex Blackhawks shine: Vinnie Hinostroza had 2 goals in the Coyotes win over the Blackhawks. Vinnie was traded over the summer to Arizona in the hopes of Arizona taking Hossa’s contract. Hinostroza has played in all 6 games so far this season, and has registered just 3 points. 2 of which came in the form of goals against the Blackhawks last night, go figure. Goalie Antti Raanta played lights out against the Hawks last night, and finished with 33 saves. Raanta has never lost the game at the United Center, which was awesome when he was on the team, but is not great now.
– Power Play blunders : How many goals did the Blackhawks end up losing by? 3 goals. How many Power Plays did the Blackhawks have? 3 power plays. Lastly, how many power play goals did the Hawks score? 0 goals. Change this, win the game, it is that simple Blackhawks.
Takes
– Crow shines…. enough: Blackhawks Goalie Corey Crawford played better hockey then was expected of him last night. Crow was seeing pucks and stopping them left and right. He even went out of the blue paint to make a few saves, proving he is not afraid of getting hit. Crow, played hockey for the first time in 10 months, and seeing him play consistent hockey will be something any hawks fan is happy to see. Chicago fans will be holding their breath the next few days, as one of the 3 goalies will be sent down to Rockford. If Corey is truly back and alright, expect Forsberg to be put on waivers this weekend.
– Toews and the Cat continue to shine: Jonathan Toews and Alex Debrincat assisted on the only Hawks goal of the night, a great set up pass by Jonathan Toews to Erik Gustafsson gave the Hawks a game tying goal. The Blackhawks fell 4-1 to end the game, but Toews and Debrincat both pushed their point streak to 6 games.
