Sigh* The Blackhawks have fell to 3-16-3 in the last 21 games, while also losing the last 5 straight, and being scored on first in the last 8 games. The Blackhawks are not fun to watch, and every game is one game closer to them being mathematically eliminated from the playoffs. Maybe they turn things around, maybe they don’t. One thing needs to change for the Hawks.

After last game I watched my shifts (and) I just thought to myself instead of worrying so much about certain little things just go out and play and have fun
Brenden Perlini spoke out about what he needs to change in his game. The Hawks can learn something from him. Chicago needs to go out and have fun, they are playing hockey, if they are not going to win it’s going to be a very sad season, and a waste considering Toews is managing to have a bounce back year.
With Toews and Kane both playing productively the question lies where is this teams problem? Why have they lost 5 straight? Is it the coaches fault?
The answers: because of team defense, defense, and no Coach Colliton is not to blame.
Stan Bowman did not fix the defense much this offseason, help is on the way in a season or two, but for now we are in a mediocre age on the Blue Line. Brandon Manning was brought in to be the fix for the Blue Line and play top 4 minutes however he has only put up 1 goal and 2 assists so far this year.
Of course fans can hold their breath, there is one quick way to speed up the rebuild. Trading a big name player will bring back BIG prospects, but PLEASE don’t trade a big name player like Toews, Kane, Keith, or Crawford.
