December 31- January 6th
Patrick Kane
Patrick Kane and the Chicago Blackhawks have turned things around a little bit since the middle of December. Kane and company currently sit near the bottom of the Central Division and it will take a miracle for the club to make the playoffs, a miracle Kane is ready to make reality.
Kane has had a great week with 8 points in his last 5 games. Patrick Kane is always trying to play the best hockey possible, and his backhand goal against the Calgary Flames shows the talent Kane still has.
One player has been assisting on Kane’s goals a lot recently. Blackhawks defenseman Erik Gustafsson. Gustafsson currently has 26 points on the year, a career best for him. Gustafsson has being passing to Kane a lot on the spoiler play and has 6 points in the last 5 games.
Kane is on pace to beat his point total from last year. In 2018 he had 76 points this season he has 56 so far and only needs 20 more to beat his total. Kane has 11 power play goals this year, that is half of the power play goals the Hawks have had this year.
Patrick Kane is going to need to keep playing great hockey if Chicago is going to have any chance of making the playoffs.
