To start summer workouts for the Bears had about 98% of the team present. Option workouts with no real reason to be their 98% of the team was present. Something Matt Nagy turned around and said would never happen again.
Since that first day 100% of the team has been present 100% of the time. The Bears had 99% of the team present on that cold day back in January when the Bears lost to the Philadelphia Eagles, and since then it has been hard getting back together.
From kicker Cody Parkey taking interviews disrupting the team dynamic to defensive coordinator Vic Fangio leaving to become the head coach of the Denver Broncos. The Bears have had news besides their amazing defensive plays and long offensive drives. Hopefully now they can get back to what they do best, playing football.
The schedule for the Bears in the 2019-2020 season is one of the toughest in the NFL. Here is the link for the schedule. The Bears will be back on the field soon enough, and they will be rocking some new uniforms.
With this being the 100 season of Bears football the team gathered for a celebration with both past and present Bears players in attendance. Chicago will start celebrating victories at club dub sooner rather than later.
September 5th will be the Bears home opener, and it comes against the Bears most hated rival. The Packers will come to town. More will be said on that matchup at a later time.
I am excited for the Bears new season to start, and for football to be back in Chicago. Hopefully the Bears can start just playing their game rather than spending time off the field. Let's go Bears!
