From The United Center -
The Blackhawks lost again to the San Jose Sharks last night improving their record to 10-19-6. Jack Hughes can practically book his ticket to Chicago. The future number 1 draft pick would look great in the red white and black. Anyways the Hawks lost again today!
Even though the Hawks record in their last 15 games is 3-11-1, there are some good things coming out of the season.
Blackhawks captain, Jonathan Toews, has been criticized a lot in the past few years, and I mean a lot. Toews, “who really is not as good as he once was”, now is on pace to put up a career high amount of points. The “overrated” Hawks captain is second on the team with points sitting only behind Patrick Kane. Knowing that Toews and Kane are both leading the Blackhawks bounds well with what they are trying to build for the future.
Dylan Strome has proven why he was a third overall pick. Strome has 5 goals and an assist in the 11 games he has played with the Blackhawks so far. Which is 3 more goals than Nick Schmaltz had.
The younger Blackhawks are all really stepping up into more dominant pieces in Chicago, weather it be Jokiharju with 11 assists on the blue line or Alex Debrincat with 25 points the younger core Blackhawks are here and are catching the fire from Toews and Kane.
Goalie Corey Crawford left the game last night against the San Jose Sharks. Crawford has a concussion, something that sidelined him around this time last year. Hopefully Crawford can come back sooner rather than later, if not Jack Hughes can rent an apartment in downtown Chicago.
