Bears vs Eagles (Eagles win 16-15)
Did Cody Parkey miss? Yes yes he did. The Chicago Bears managed to lose the biggest game of their season against the Philadelphia Eagles. Eagles Quarterback Nick Foles proved again tonight that he is not a backup quarterback, passing for 266 yds and 2 TDS. Alshon Jeffery looked good in soldier field, something Bears fans did not want to hear, picking up some key first downs and catching for 82 yards. The Bears defense proved again why they are one of the best in the NFL. Mack and the Monsters managed to force 2 interceptions on the game.
Cody Parkey has been blamed a lot for tonight’s loss fans need to remember it was an interception by Trubisky and 2 key penalties by the Bears defense that lead to the first touchdown of the day. The Bears are a good team, and it will only be time before they get back to the playoffs.
Chargers vs Ravens (LA Chargers win 23-17)
The Ravens fell short of coming back in this game after a great second half. Baltimore had all 17 points in the second half of the game against the Chargers. In the last seconds of the game the Baltimore Ravens were pushing for a comeback when rookie quarterback Lamar Jackson wounded up in the pocket for a throw. Jackson pulled his arm back and was about to release a deep ball that could win the game when it was swatted out of his hand by Adrian Phillips, and then recovered by Phillips. Jackson and company will return to the playoffs soon but will have to watch the rest of this season from the couch. Odds are the Chargers will join them next week in the eliminated crew considering Michael Badgley, the Chargers kicker, notched 15 points for the team.
Colts vs Titans (Colts win 21-7)
The Indianapolis Colts managed to pull away with a big win over the Houston Texans. Indianapolis started the game right with 2 touchdowns in the first quarter. Andrew Luck played a game that did not cost the Colts any costly interceptions, although he did throw one. Running back Marlon Mack rushed for 148 yards and 1 touchdown. Mack helped propel the team for a win.
On the other side of the ball Deshaun Watson threw for 1 touchdown and 235 yards. More impressingly Watson managed to lead the team in rushing yards with 76 on the day. The Titans really failed to do much on the ground today which is why they will watch the rest of the playoffs from home.
Cowboys vs Seahawks (Cowboys win 24-22)
Better luck next year Seahawks. After pushing into a playoff spot late in the year the Seahawks are going home after a tough game against the Cowboys. Russell Wilson, who passed for 233 yards and 1 touchdown played great again today, but not great enough.
Dam Prescott also showed why he is the starting quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys when he passed for 226 yards and 1 touchdown. Data do the boys managed to turn in a big game to advance to play the Rams next week. If the Cowboys are going to beat the Rams they are going to have to have Ezekiel Elliott at his very best, he ran for 137 yards and for 1 touchdown. He even had a highlight real play where he almost did a flip into the end zone, it was eventually ruled down out the 1.
